In this article, I'll show you how to review a newsletter's statistics for newsletters sent with Acy Mailing 5.

Access to Acy Mailing 5

This is screen accessible via the administration area: Select Components → Components → Acy Mailing 5 → Newsletters from the drop-down menus from the drop-down menus.  Or you can select Components → Acy Mailing 5 → Statistics also from the drop-down menus.

View the statistics of a newsletter

Using the first method noted above (Acy Mailing 5 → Newsletters), click on the pie chart symbol for the respective newsletter that you want to view.  In the video below, I go into the second newsletter as there are more details to view in the statistics area.

Completing this action will create a pop-up window (modal) to be displayed.  This window will display details such as:

  • 162 e-mails sent
  • Send Date : 14 February 2020 14:00
  • 27.16% users opened the Newsletter ( 44 / 162 )
  • 0% users clicked on a link ( 0 / 162 )
  • 0% users who opened the email clicked on a link ( 0 / 44 )
  • 0% users unsubscribed ( 0 )
  • 0% bounced ( 0 )

Each of the numbers noted above are clickable for more details.  By way of example, clicking on the first row (162 e-mails sent), detailed information about:

  • Send date / time - note that when emails are sent they are batch, so you will see a run of member names with the same date/time stamp.
  • User - member / email address
  • Version - HTML or text
  • Opens - How many times a newsletter been opened
  • Date - Date / time when the newsletter was first opened
  • Bounces - against any member that has not received the newsletter
  • Sent – noted by a tick in the admin area
