By default the maximum file upload size is set to 2MB. It is not a Drupal issue, instead a php issue as upload_max_filesize is set in your php configuration (php.ini file). In some situations, for example a block listing nodes related to the node being viewed, you might wish to exclude the current node from a list view.
Steps:
Click on the advanced tab;
Click on add under contextual filters;
Choose Content datasource: ID;
