In this article, I'll show you how to edit an existing member's newsletter subscription status using Acy Mailing 5.

Access to Acy Mailing 5

This is screen accessible via the administration area: Select Components → Acy Mailing 5 → Users from the drop-down menus.

Edit a member's newsletter subscription

There are two methods you can use to enter edit mode for a member (user):

  1. Click on the member's email; or
  2. Click on the checkbox along the corresponding member's row and then click Edit on the sub menu row (other items along this row include Actions, Import, Export, New, Edit, Delete and Help)

Once the page has reloaded, there are two sections: member information and subscription / history.  Scroll down to the second section subscription / history.  In this section there is currently a list of six (6) subscriptions.  You need to check that the member has the following subscriptions marked as Subscribed:

  • Newsletters 2021;
  • Current Members Only; and
  • Playing Groups and Tee Times.

The remaining newsletter subscriptions should be marked as No Subscription.  However, that said a review of the subscriptions should be completed annually.

Once the member's profile has been updated to reflect this state, click Save.  Subsequently, the screen will refresh and take you back to the list screen.
